In cursul zilei de 7 decembrie, adica ieri, echipa de programatori ai mediului de lucru KDE au pus la dispozitia publicului versiunile 4.7.4 pentru ramura stabila si pentru testare versiunea 4.8 Beta2. KDE 4.7.4 este ultima versiune cu update-uri pentru seria 4.7: KDE released updates for its Workspaces, Applications, and Development Platform. These updates are the fourth in a series of monthly stabilization updates to the 4.7 series. 4.7.4 updates bring many bugfixes and translation updates on top of the latest edition in the 4.7 series and are recommended updates for everyone running 4.7.0 or earlier versions. As the release only contains bugfixes and translation updates, it will be a safe and pleasant update for everyone.
KDE 4.8 Beta2 aduce in atentia utilizatorilor o avampremiera a ceea ce va fi urmatoarea versiune stabila a KDE: KDE released the second beta for its renewed Workspaces, Applications, and Development Platform. With API, dependency and feature freezes in place, the KDE team’s focus is now on fixing bugs and further polishing new and old functionality. Compared to Beta1, Beta2 contains hundreds of fixes.
Fanilor KDE nu le ramane decat sa astepte pachetele actualizate cu KDE 4.7.4 puse la dispozitie de repo-urile distributiei linux folosite. Utilizare placuta a mediului de lucru va doresc ! :)
